Hey guys! I'm currently working on adding more detail in my first painting. I admit that it's been hard to work as efficiently as normal given that this is the largest canvas I've painted on so far. I ordered smaller paintbrushes from Michael's so I can begin painting in the figure in the middle of the canvas. I think I need one or two more sessions to start seeing it come together.
I also ordered another (smaller!) canvas for my next painting. I wanted to base this one off of my backyard here in Charleston (picture below). I want to try plein air painting and would like to combine psychedelic collage to stylize it more. I am going to play around with different ideas, but currently I'm thinking that I'm going to add black and white lines in place of the water.
